Copyright and takedown requests

We write about the artworks that set records at auction. Works that are still in copyright are shown small, with a credit line, alongside our own commentary on the work and its sale. Works in the public domain are shown larger. We don’t sell products of works that are in copyright.

If you hold the rights to an image here

We respect artists, estates and their representatives. If you would like us to change a credit line, reduce an image or remove it, contact @stolenartdealer on Instagram or use our contact form. We aim to reply within two business days, and we take an image down while we look into a request.

Please include:

• the page address (the work or artist page)
• the work, and the rights you hold or represent
• what you would like us to do
• how we can reach you

Licensing

We would rather show these works properly. If you represent an artist or estate and can license larger images for editorial use, we would like to hear from you.
