Privacy

This is a gallery you can read without signing in. We don’t set cookies, and we don’t run ads or tracking pixels. We don’t ask for your name or email.

What our host processes

The site is hosted by Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare processes the technical details every website request carries, such as your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for. Our fonts and images are served from this site.

Your bag

Items you add to your bag are saved in your own browser, not on our servers, so the bag is there when you come back. The last size you chose for a T-shirt or hoodie is remembered the same way. Clearing your browser’s site data empties both.

Saved works and the price game

Works you save and your best streak in The Estimate are kept in your own browser only. When you play The Estimate, we store how far off each guess was, with the painting it was for, so we can show how you compare. We don’t store who made the guess or set a cookie. To stop one connection flooding the game, we count guesses against a one-way scrambled form of your IP address, which can’t be turned back into the address.

Messages you send us

If you report an error, contact us or ask to hear when we ship to your country, we keep your message and, if you give it, your email, only to reply or to send that one notice. To stop one connection flooding the forms, we count messages against a one-way scrambled form of your IP address. Ask us and we’ll delete what you sent.

Error reports

If a page breaks in your browser, it sends us the page address and the error message so we can fix it. Your browser may also report content our security policy blocked. Neither includes anything about you.

Visit counts

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read and how fast they load. It doesn’t use cookies, doesn’t follow you to other sites and doesn’t build a profile of you.

Which Reel brought you

If you arrive from one of our Reels, the link says which one. We count, once a day and with no name attached, how many visits came from each Reel, how many put something in the bag, and how many bought. The count is a number: it holds no email, no address, no IP address and no visitor ID. We keep the Reel name in your browser only until you close the tab. If your browser sends “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control, we do not link your visit to a Reel.

Links to other sites

Lot pages link to auction houses, museums, news outlets and Instagram. Those sites have their own privacy policies.

Changes

When we add features such as a newsletter, accounts or a shop, this page will say what they collect and why before they go live.
